JOCELYN MAJURE HILDEBRAND Jocelyn Majure Hildebrand, aged 92, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at St. Boniface Hospital. She is survived by daughter Kathy (Gene) Patterson, son Ron (Kerri) Mazur, son Tom (Pat) Majure, son Jim (Kristi) Mazur, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom made many friends in the communities that she was a part of, such as East Braintree, Riverton, Piney, Steinbach, and Winnipeg. Many children in Steinbach learned to skate under mom's guidance. She was always contributing to the community by either participating or leading various events, and was always busy working with her hands in some fashion, such as knitting, gardening, and crocheting. She went to many Manitoba Society of Seniors Games, participating in swimming events while in her 80s. She was also a member at Willowlake Baptist Church in Winnipeg. A celebration of mom's life will be held Monday, October 29, at 11:00 a.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach, with interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery.
