I just found out about Nancy's passing. I am totally shocked, I saw her at the Pembina Trails retirement! She was so excited to retire as we shared our plans for retirement. I was a friend of the family for many, many years. I also remember her at VMC, she was always so beautiful and always looked absolutely wonderful, her smile was always so heart warming. My condolences to RIchard, Mr. & Mrs. Wiebe, Brenda, Norm and their family, Donna and her family, and dear Norma and her family. - Posted by: Donna Ptosnick (family friend) on: Dec 04, 2012

During the early 70's, Nancy usually provided the last smile I would see on my regular visits to the front office at VMC. Sorry to hear of her passing. - Posted by: David Grant (Acquaintance ) on: Nov 02, 2012

I met Nancy when I was 16. It was on my visits to the principal office at Vincent Massey Collegiate. She always calmed the nerves. I liked her bee-hive hairdoo. In later years I moved next door to her Dad and Mom, Norm and Anne. I would see Nancy occasionally when I took my kids bikes over to Normy's shop for repairs. She was the most pleasant person. I was saddened to hear of her passing. Best wishes to her family. - Posted by: Dave Belford (Friend) on: Oct 30, 2012

I grew up on Byng Place with the Wiebe sisters. Norma is my best friend and as a result I had the privilege of knowing all of her sisters. Norma and I used to help Nancy at Vincent Massey during the summer holidays. We had lots of laughs and enjoyed our time together! When I graduated from high school, I worked with Nancy at VMC for part of the year. Nancy and Richard had a wonderful marriage and were truly soulmates! I know that Nancy will be watching over Richard and her sisters. I will miss you Nancy! My condolences to Richard, Brenda, Donna, Norma, and their families. You will always be in our hearts and in our thoughts! - Posted by: Pamela Deverdenne (Family friend and neighbour) on: Oct 29, 2012

I too worked together with Nancy at the Fort Garry School Board Office for years before I moved to BC. I was very fond of Nancy and admired her professionalism and strong work ethic. Nancy was a positive, upbeat lady, happy with her life. She will certainly be in our thoughts. It is truly sad that she is gone so soon. - Posted by: Pam Galbecka (Co-worker) on: Oct 29, 2012

She will be sadly missed, as she was dear to many people. I have had the privilege to have met her on family get togethers. Nancy was always smiling, ready to help whoever was in need of it. I worked with Nancy (different depts but same floor) for about 6 yrs. I since changed jobs, and was so sad to hear of her passing. We had our "sweet tooth" in common and she always loved it when I brought in my little girls for a visit to the office. My condolences go out to her family. - Posted by: Jaime French (co-worker) on: Oct 29, 2012

I was fortunate to know Nancy in her capacity of Administrative Assistant to Mr. Craig Stahlke, Pembina Trails School Division. Her professionalism and attention to detail was beyond excellent. On a personal note, Nancy had a very warm heart and a good sense of humour. On behalf of Educational Assistant of Pembina Trails, we offer our deepest sympathies to Richard, Brenda and other family and friends. Her well earned retirement was cut so short, tragically. She will be missed. - Posted by: Pat Lloyd (Work) on: Oct 29, 2012

I am so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. I worked with her for the last 14 years at the AO also as Executive Assistant. Nancy exhibited such kindness and always had interesting stories to tell! She was also a good listener. We had much in common and it was very easy to share with Nancy. I regret the pain the family has to endure as she will be deeply missed both in the workplace and at home. Sincere condolences to the family - specifically to Richard and Brenda. - Posted by: Annette Hacault (Coworker) on: Oct 29, 2012

I am so saddened by the news that Nancy has passed away. We worked together for 17 years during which time I came to recognise her many skills and I admired her patience when dealing with Trustees and her loyalty to the organisation. She was always most professional. - Posted by: Henry Izatt (Co-worker) on: Oct 29, 2012
