Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCORNELIUS (NEIL) FRIESEN November 14, 1915 - October 27, 2012 Neil Friesen passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB at the age of 96. He leaves behind Maria, his wife of 61 years; children: Sharon (Gary) and their children Erika and Kirsten; Deborah (Mark) and their children Andrew, Heather, Scott and Andrew; and Russ (Myra) and their children Christine, Jessica and Laurel. He is also survived by his brother Martin. Neil was a proud family man, avid fisherman and outdoorsman and served his country with dedication in the Second Word War. The family would like to thank the home care and hospital staff who provided so much support. There will be a service to celebrate his life on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach.
