PATRICIA LAND 1931 2012 Peacefully, with family by her side, on Saturday, October 27, 2012 in St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 81 years. Mum was a person who would do all things for those around her. She was a wonderful mum, nana, sister and friend who will be missed by those who knew and loved her. A service to honour mum's memory will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Church of Christ, 170 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6. Sometimes it's hard not to wish for one more day, one more word, one more chance to say goodbye, but you should rest assured that you were a joy to your mum every day of your life and she was immensely proud of you. Although I never met her - her legacy shines brightly through you and continues to live on.
