PATRICIA ELSIE NOGA 1941 - 2012 Peacefully on October 29, 2012 with all her family by her side, Patt passed away. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Shirley (Kevin) Stimpson, and grandchildren Jacy, Tal, Zachary, Shane, and Cole (Clare) and great-grandson Liam; sister Anne (Earl) Clabeaux and brothers Eugene (Val) Stacyszyn, Michael (Jean) Stacyszyn. Patt was born in Hubbard, Saskatchewan to Mike and Effie Stacyszyn; she was the fifth of seven children. Mike did not share a passion for farming and in the early 1950s he moved the family to Amherstburg, Ontario in order to find work. The large family grew up in a small house on 810 Fort Street. She met the love of her life Brian Noga while working in Toronto. They were married in 1967. They moved to Winnipeg in 1970 and chose to make it their life long home. Patt was blessed with five grandchildren and they soon became a main focus of her life. Whether it was having them for sleepovers at the house in St. Andrews or attending all the concerts, football and hockey games, she built a strong relationship with each of them. A celebration of Patt's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue Winnipeg. Pastor Mark Hughes will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends or family so desire, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON 1160-675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3E 0V9. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

  • I will always remember my auntie Patt and the times we shared in my younger years. She had the most fancy slippers, made the best moon cookies and marshmellow hot chocolate, and I loved her pea garden as much as Jimney and Cricket. I can only hope my son has as fond of memories of his aunties as I do. Love you and RIP with uncle Brian. Xo. - Posted by: Kit Stacyszyn (Mazurak) (Auntie) on: Nov 02, 2012

  • Growing up in Winnipeg, it was always fun to visit with Brian, Patt & Shirley. Many good card games were played at their home as well as shooting pool. We enjoyed family dinners and Patt was a great cook & hostess. Will miss you very much. - Posted by: Patt Felton (cousin) on: Nov 02, 2012
