  • Dear Kathleen (and family), I'm very sorry for your loss. I met your dad maybe only twice during elementary school and I have short memories of him being genuinely concerned about us being good before, during and after school. Some years have already passed since he left and I am sure he is terribly missed. Kind regards, Eleanor B - Posted by: Eleanor B (Former elementary school classmate of Kathleen) on: Jan 28, 2017

  • I distinctly remember Tito Ador when I was a teenager. Back then, I knew him as a grouchy old man (even though he was young then). I barely saw him but every time he saw me at Inang's house he would scold me as if I had done something wrong. I never saw a smile on his face. Now that I am an adult, I realize that that type of job sometimes will make you a different person. He was a policeman, which is not an easy job. It is very stressful and very demanding. When I got married and came to America, we would always talk over the phone, he even came down with his family to visit us. His stayed with us, and made me realized how different of a person he was. I saw a smiling face, a calm, kind, caring, and passionate person with the kids and a loving husband and father. One morning, I woke up looking for my daughter who was only 2 years old then, to find out that she was with Tito Ador on his early morning walk. We kept in touch until we last visited him because of his illness and to join in with his birthday celebration.  We took him to lunch the next day and he insisted on driving us, so we (Arnold, Tita Fe and I) hopped in the car. After our lunch, he drove us to some places and he acted as if he were the tourist guide. We kept asking him how he was feeling and suggested we should go home so he could rest, but he kept saying he was fine. That was Tito Ador, he wasn't thinking of himself, he would not want to be a burden to anybody, he would rather help and take care of you. We love you Tito Ador. Goodbye, till we meet you again - Posted by: Elizabeth Rivera Teodocio Fajardo (Niece) on: Nov 05, 2012

  • I still can't believe you are gone, Dad. I just wish we could hug and kiss you one last time. Life will not be the same for Mom, Jay, your granddaughters and I -- you were our rock! Thank-you for all the good you've instilled in me. Thank-you for your patience when I was getting a little out-of-hand. But most of all, thank-you for loving me, Quinn, Savannah, Quiannah and Alannah unconditionally. We miss and love you SO MUCH! :**( I hope that you are happy up in heaven. - Posted by: Kathleen Rivera (Daughter) on: Nov 03, 2012
