Date of Passing: Nov 02, 2012
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH ROSE SIEGERS It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear wife, mom and grandma, Liz Siegers of Oakbank, on Friday, November 2, 2012, at the age of 64 years. Liz will be always loved and forever missed by her beloved husband and best friend, Bob, of 45 years, children Cheryl-Lynn (Todd) Stucky, Don (Shaunna Morgan Siegers), Jim (Sue Yuen Siegers) and granddaughter Jadyn, Karen (Paul) Ivison and grandchildren Jillian, Lynley, Caeden and Hadley. She will also be remembered by her sisters Mary Ethier and Pat Johnson, their families, her many extended family, and friends. Liz put her whole heart into everything she did, whether it was gardening, cooking for her family, or quilting. Her strong belief in putting her family first gave her a special bond with all of her children knowing how they felt, or what they were thinking without a word being spoken. Her abundance of generosity, empathy, energy, patience and love made her such a special person to be around. She will continue to be the foundation of her family, as she taught them all to keep an open mind, be generous and love with all your heart. "If God brought you to it, God will bring you through it." A celebration of Liz's life will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Transcona Christian Reformed Church 131 Victoria Avenue West, Winnipeg with Pastor Dan Voss presiding. A private family burial will take place prior to the service at Sunnyside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victoria's Quilts Canada, Manitoba Branch, 454 - 1568 Merivale Road, Ottawa, ON K2G 5Y7, or the MS Society of Manitoba #100 - 1465 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, MB R3T 1L8.
