MELTON JOSEPH MCIVOR Melton (MJ) McIvor passed away peacefully at the age of 58 on November 4, 2012, at the Grace Hospital embraced by his wife and with his children by his side. MJ was predeceased by his parents Milton and Joyce McIvor. MJ is deeply loved and will be missed by his wife Lorie, children Pamela Walker (James), Steven (Carrie), grandchildren Jakob, Marshall, Jade-Marie and Michael as well as his sister Melanie and brothers Jim, Tim and Terry. Dad, it is your time to rest in peace. You will worry no more as God has you in his keeping and we have you in our hearts forever. We love you daddy. Funeral Service will be held at Westminster United Church, 745 Westminster Avenue at 11:00 a.m on Friday, November 9, 2012. My deepest sympathy to Melton's family. I find it so hard to say goodbye, memories are flooded with tears. I have to say my best memories will forever be this past September. Gerard and I got together with Laurie and Melton, we took in Club Regent (we didn't win big), but I left there feeling like I won big time. I truly enjoyed my time with Melton and Laurie. It was hard to say goodbye when I left for home in BC. I believe I was blessed to have had that time with MJ, to have been given a memory full of understanding, love, respect, trust, friendship.
