Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA M. BURKE (nee BURNS) March 16, 1925 - November 10, 2012 Patricia Margerite Burke, loving wife to Brian Burke, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on the morning of November 10, 2012. Patricia was predeceased by both of her parents. She is survived by her adoring husband of 60 years and her two children: a devoted daughter, Janice Patricia Burke and their son Neil Brian Burke. Patricia was a loving and caring mother who put her heart into everything she held dear. Her family was her pride and joy along with the many hours she committed to her volunteering. She had a heart that touched many, especially those less fortunate. Meals on Wheels was a cause she was very passionate about. Patricia made sure others did not go without. Her commitment to the organization lasted over 25 years. Her passion for all animals was ever present. We are asking family and friends, if they so wish, to make a donation on her behalf to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 9Z9. We give you thanks in doing so to honour her memory. Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Patricia's wishes, there will be no service. Patricia will be forever remembered and deeply missed, but know that she is always with us in our hearts as she watches over us. NEIL BARDAL FUNERAL CENTRE 204-949-2200 www.nbardal.mb.ca

Jan, my deepest sympathy in the passing of your mom. You were always there for your parents in many ways. Patty will be surely missed. I still miss the days that we took your parents to the lake in Traverse Bay and we all celebrated our parent's anniversaries... it sure was a great memory for me and my parents. If there is anything I can do to lend a helping hand, please let me know. Give my best to your dad. I will come and visit you both soon. We loved to visit with Pattie. Our pooch loved to have her pat and pay attention to him. Leo will miss calling at your home, Brian, to get Pattie's hugs. She was a lovely neighbor and helped us with having Janice as a babysitter when our children were small. We trust your family is giving you great love and consolation. Our sincere condolences. - Posted by: Donna and Hy dubo (Neighbours) on: Nov 15, 2012

So sorry that we no longer have Patricia with us. Saw her just a few short days ago as she struggled going for her walk and am glad I had an opportunity to have a short visit along with a hug of encouragement! Patricia and Brian have been wonderful neighbours. My condolences to Brian and his family. May the love and support of friends help see you through this loss. May her soul rest in peace! God Bless.
