INGA-BRITT HESHKA (nee CARLSON) 1921-2012 It is with incredible heartache and profound sadness that we said good bye to our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend at the age of 91 at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg. She peacefully and quietly slipped away with Sandra and Joanne holding her hands. She is welcomed home again by our Dad Sandy who predeceased her in 2009. Mom was also predeceased by her grandparents, Carl and Anna, mother Linnea, stepfather Frank and brother Roy. Left to forever cherish her memory are children; Sandra (Albert), Sandy Jr. and Joanne, grandchildren Christopher, Kelly, Sonia and Lisa along with their spouses and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom held a special place in her heart. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donation if so desired can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
