ROSE ALFONSO Peacefully on November 9, 2012, Rose passed away at Lion's Manor at the age of 89. Rose is survived by her son Rick (Susanna), daughter Helen, grandchildren, Nikki and Josh, Greg and Kelly, great-grandchildren, Zoey and Maria. She was predeceased by her husband Don, siblings, Fred, Dick, Albert, George and Bob, Gladys and Violet. Rose worked at Circle Canvas for over 20 years. She had a way with animals - they just took to her. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary at the Fort Rouge Legion. Rose and Don enjoyed music and dancing. Rose was caring, compassionate and giving. She was always there to help anyone in need or to give guidance. She loved going for walks. She loved bingo and was talented at needle point and crochet. Special thanks to the wonderful staff on the 3rd Floor, Lion's Personal Care Centre, for their care and attention. Cremation has taken place and an afternoon to remember Rose will take place on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
