Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHUBERT FAHNENSCHMIDT We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Hubert Fahnenschmidt on Sunday, November 11, 2012 after his illness. Hubert was born in Cologne, Germany on October 13, 1932 and came to Canada in 1956. He was a baker by trade. Hubert traveled Canada for a few years then settled in Winnipeg in 1959. He worked as a baker for Dominion Stores later owning his own bakery in East Kildonan for nine years. Hubert worked for Loblaw Bakeries until retirement. In 1959 Hubert married Helen and they had a daughter Anita. Hubert was a member of St. Joseph Parish as well as a member of the Kolping Society for over 50 years. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 355 Andrews at Mountain. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
