AUDREY BILLIE WARREN (nee RENSHAW) January, 1937 - November, 2012 On Thursday, November 8, 2012, Audrey's battle with cancer ended with dignity and grace in the arms of her family. She leaves to cherish her memories her three children Robert (Sandy), Wendy (Glen) and Cathy (Jeff). Her greatest sources of joy were her grandchildren Michael, Andrew, Christie and Aimee. Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • Mrs. Warren was firm but fair. She taught us many life lessons. Recently seen her in March 2012 at another good friends funeral. She was so full of zip and had nothing but kind words for the friends that we were remembering. Our world is a better place because of teachers like Mrs. Warren. God bless her family and their memories. - Posted by: Shelley Armstrong (Student) on: Dec 17, 2012

  • We shared accomodation with the Warren family - we rented the upstairs duplex on Dale Avenue. Dave was busy at the high school and I was busy being a mom to a toddler and a baby. Dear Audrey was always there to help me out when I needed extra advice when the kids were sick or an extra hand for a quick baby sit. We all loved her as we did the entire family. Love to all. - Posted by: Dave and Elaine Fisher (Friend) on: Nov 22, 2012

  • My favorite Aunt now at rest with my favorite Uncle, say hi to Uncle Bobby for me! Independent, brilliant, beautiful and ballsy, the wonderful, bigger than life Auntie Audrey, we will miss you! (but we know you're there watching over us all). - Posted by: Greg and Teresa Litwin (nephew and friend) on: Nov 19, 2012

  • Such warm memories of one of the most warmest and welcoming persons/teachers. Met up with Mrs. Warren a few months ago in Selkirk, shared some fond memories of the school years and caught up with each other's lives. Will cherish this memory. Heartfelt sympathy to Mrs. Warren's family. She was a true inspiration to all. Cindy - Posted by: Cindy Matychak (Romanishen) (Student) on: Nov 16, 2012

  • Mrs. Warren was my gr. 7-8 teacher. I was not particularly smart in school, but she gave me my first 100% in a lit class of the Prince and the Pauper test and that till this day changed my attitude to school as I was getting great marks after that. She was a friend till the last time we met in the spring of this year. I loved her as a teacher and as a friend. Rest in peace my dear Mrs. Warren. - Posted by: betty regula (former student from Hazelglen school) on: Nov 15, 2012

  • I have warm, fond and humorous memories of Audrey instructing me how to survive the harsh Manitoba winters in rural Beausejour so long ago. Audrey made me feel like a princess riding to her one-room schoolhouse in a horse drawn sleigh. Our heartfelt condolences to the family Jennifer - Posted by: Jennifer Watson (nee Wrightson) (Cousin) on: Nov 14, 2012

  • I am shocked and so sorry to hear about Audrey's passing. I remember Audrey for her warm smile, good natured and always pleasant. My late husband, John Bialek and I would meet Audrey and Bob at Rural area casinos & we spent many hours playing Blackjack on the same table. My deepest condolences to the family. - Posted by: Rozalia Bialek (Friend) on: Nov 14, 2012
