JOHN (JACK) LONGLEY April 4, 1930 - November 12, 2012 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, pa pa, and great-grandfather, Papa Jack on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Seven Oaks Hospital with his family at his side, at the age of 82 years. Left to forever cherish Jack's memory are his wife Maisie, of 59 years of marriage; children, Sandra (Larry), Jack (Darlene), Ron (Vicky), Colleen (Rod); brother, Roy; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Dorothy; brothers, Bobby and Bill. Jack was born and raised in Winnipeg. He was employed as a Blacksmith at C.P. Shops and later at Killbery Industries, now MacDon Industries as a Director. Dad was active at Brooklands Weston Legion. He loved to golf, fish, and garden. He built a cabin on Lee River and enjoyed being there with his family and friends. Dad was a good provider for his family as well as an all round generous person. A private family Interment will be held. The family would like to express deepest thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital, Unit 3, Ward 5, for the care and compassion shown to Dad. Wojcik's Funeral Chapel in care of the arrangements.
