DON BUNNEY 1927 - 2012 Peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2012, Don passed away at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 85 years. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years, Jean, daughter Linda (Ralph), sons Brian (Jean McLean) and Wayne (Giselle), sister Vera (Bill), seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Eileen, and extended family and friends. Don was predeceased by his parents, son Bruce, and brother Fred. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the doctors and staff at Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. A memorial service to honour Don's memory will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg MB, R3L 0K6. Dear Jean, Tom and I are so sorry we are away in Indio and unable to be at Don's funeral on Wednesday. Though distance separates us, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Don, a very dear friend will be sadly missed. We have all the great memories of our travels together in Hawaii, the southern United States and the cabin at Black Sturgeon to comfort us in our sorrow.
