ROLANDE LOUISA BEAUMONT (nee VOURIOT ) 1921 -2012 It is with heavy hearts and great love that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, GrandMother, Great-GrandMother and friend, on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Many of Heaven's Angels were awaiting Mom's arrival: her parents Albert and Georgine Vouriot; our father, her beloved husband Paul; her siblings Georgette, Paul, Alberte, and Léo and two dear grandchildren: Brigitte and Jean Paul. Mom is lovingly remembered by her children, Jean (Dolorès), Yvette (Art), Gilles (Debby), Louise (Allan), Aline (Fritz), and Alan; her cherished grandchildren the light in her eyes Nicole, Derek, Suzanne, René, Lisa, Melissa, Jennifer, Kristen and her Stars of the future , her great-grandchildren, Justin, François, Michel, Julien, Gabrielle, Alyana, Joannie and Keira as well as a special friend Cha-Cha. Mom enjoyed the friendship and company of her many friends, neighbours and family. She valued the times around the kitchen table engaged in friendly conversation and a cup of tea. Rolande's character could be described as honest, caring, unselfish, principled ...all the qualities which made her a great mother, wife and friend. She has been an inspiration to us all. Our family would like to extend a sincere thank-you to Palliative Care and staff at Riverview Health Centre for their compassionate care in our mom's final journey. A Celebration of Mom's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 24 at the St. Norbert Roman Catholic Church, 80 St. Pierre Street. A private family interment will take place at the St. Norbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial gift may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Ave. Winnipeg, MB R3L 9Z9. Family friends are invited to sign the book of condolences at www.desjardinsfuneralchapel.ca Our Mother is grace; She is peace, strength, and joy, She lives on in us, Filling our hearts with loving memories.
