Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • Cindy and I met in late 1987, became fast friends and we were two peas in a pod. I was her Maid of Honour and I have a very fun, happy picture of the day we picked out the hat and dress in her photo. I had been trying to find her on Facebook and was asking around as we had lost contact over the years and was informed of her passing. I am so sorry and saddened. • It was with great sadness I heard of "Cinge's" passing. I have so many great memories of times spent together from getting our ears pierced (from her mom) to smoking in the Village Green, to crying on each other's shoulder's over our first boyfriends. She was such a wonderful, loyal and fun friend a true beautiful soul. I send my deepest sympathies to her siblings Judy and Bill and their families. - Posted by: Judy Parisian (nee Veilleux) (School and childhood friend) on: Nov 28, 2012

  • Was so surprised to hear of Cindy's passing. She became part of our extended family while in Calgary. Opa always had a hug for her. We will surely miss her presence and the wild rice dish she brought to family gatherings. Would a family member please respond as to what happened in the last months. - Posted by: Hilda Klassen (Friend) on: Nov 27, 2012

  • This news is so hard to hear as I have thought of Cindy many times over the years with fond memories, but through the moccasin telegraph and now the internet, we have become closer and dearer.
