KATHLEEN (KAY) LACHARITE (nee OERTEL) May 10, 1931 - November 22, 2012 It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Kay Lacharite on November 22, 2012, at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Left to mourn her passing is her loving husband Leo, of almost 50 years, her children; Darwin (Karen), Pat, Dale (Janet), Noni (Oscar), Corky (Darcie), Barb (Art), as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her eldest son, Luverne. Kay was born in Russell, Manitoba, grew up in a farm near Binscarth, and was the eldest of 11 siblings. She started her early adult life in Brandon, where she remained with her family until her and Leo moved to Stonewall in 1998. Kay was a perfectionist when it came to the cleanliness of her home, and took great pride in her flowers and grass in the summer time. She had great pleasure in making many various baking dishes for family members. Kay would often be seen at her weekly bingo games, a passion she truly enjoyed. Kay, Mom, Grandma (Grams) will be deeply and sadly missed. As per Kay's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service to follow.
