ELSIE (CLARA) KJEAR Born December 19, 1926, to Charles and Elsie Forbes, passed away peacefully Friday, November 23, 2012. Clara was proud to be a R.N., being able to help many a sick newborn at the Women's Centre NICU. Mom and Dad were married on September 20, 1948, and together raised five children: Hans, Allan, Don, Ken, Caroline. Mom was predeceased by her husband Hans, parents, and brother Doug Forbes. Lovingly remembered by her children, their spouses, nine grandchildren, Sarah, Eric, Matthew, David, Aimee, Holly, Laura, Thomas, Colleen, great-granddaughter Emily. Also remembered by sister Betty, husband Columbus Jones and their family. We send our deepest gratitude to H7 at Health Sciences Centre for the care and compassion Mom received especially during her final days. Thank you is not enough. In lieu of flowers a donation in Mom's memory to CancerCare Manitoba or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba would be greatly appreciated. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main Street Stonewall.
