RITA IRENE GOOSEN (nee BUHR) May 17, 1938 - November 25, 2012 Peacefully on November 25, 2012, Rita passed away at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home. She is survived by her husband John; children Diane (Louis) Friesen, Marlene (Pete) Hildebrand, and Barb (Conrad) Tiede; grandchildren Arianna, Tiana, and Jesse; and brothers Ed (Carol) Buhr, and Ernie (Carol) Buhr. Thank You to the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for the most loving care provided for the past 15 and one half years, and for all the compassion given to Rita and family during her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethania Personal Care Home in memory of Rita Goosen. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch Street, Winnipeg with viewing one hour prior to the service and interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Viewing also on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg. www.friendsfs.ca
