JAKOB ENS February 5, 1921 November 25, 2012 Jakob Ens passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg at the age of 91 years. Jakob was predeceased by his loving wife Maria; daughter-in-law Barbara; grandson Dale; brothers Isaac and Abraham; and a sister Maria. He is survived by daughter Mary Winkler (Burk); sons Jake, Henry and Paul (Doreen); grandchildren Ron, James, Robert, Christine, Karen, Brett and Jane; as well as six great-grandchildren who all brought great joy to Opa. He is also survived by sister Susanna Epp of Winnipeg and sisters Helena and Anna in Germany. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by all. The family thanks the Convalescent Home for the compassionate care Dad received during his short stay. The funeral will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street with interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
