Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryYOU LOCKE DONG (DON) 1930 - 2012 (Don) Dong, 82 years of Winnipeg, MB, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Fuk Yeung (Lynn); sons Jim Gee Wing (Susan), Gord Gee Leung (Alison), Jerry (Carol), grandchildren Jennifer (Simon), Jason, Jessica, Andrew, Ranee, Brendan, Samantha and Emerson, and great-granddaughter, Elsie. You Locke was born in Canton, China. He immigrated to Canada in 1950 to start a new life for his family and brought them over in 1966. He was a well liked and hard working individual who owned and operated several restaurants in Winnipeg including the Moon Palace, King's Palace and Happy Grill where he made many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. also at Thomson Funeral Home.
