A service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg. A complete obituary will appear in Saturday's paper. So sorry to hear of your mom passing. We had many meetings together, a lot of laughs and got a lot of things done for the youth in our community and she was certainly an importamt part of our team.GREAT LADY.Was also saddened by your father's passing as we talked quite often on the phone. Dear Chris & Kathy, We were so saddened when we saw the notice in the paper that your mom had passed away. We often thought of her, and of course in our minds she was still as she was when teaching our boys piano (as if time had not touched her). I wonder if she knew that Kevin made a career of piano. Our sincere sympathy to you both and your families. Also, our condolences on the passing of your dad in Sept. What a difficult time for you, to lose both parents so close. We experienced that ourselves with Bill's parents. May God comfort you at this difficult time. Illness this past week prevented us from attending the funeral.
