  • Dear Ruth, Bill & Lynda, We are so grateful that Auntie Jean is at peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as we know how tough it is to lose your Mom. I'll always remember Auntie as a talented and very active lady. She had a great sense of humor and we always enjoyed our visits with her when we returned to Winnipeg. • Auntie Jean was a very special lady. She was a significant part of my youth. I was the lucky one who got to spend time with everyone at the Cottage, Christmas time, Easter and holidays. They were all so special. Lynda and I shared so much with Auntie. Sitting at the kitchen nook was just such fun and the meals were wonderful. She lived a long and active life. She will be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. - Posted by: Carol and Bob Farquharson (niece and her husband) on: Dec 14, 2012

  • What a life she had. Auntie Jean was a true inspiration to everyone who knew her. There are so many fond memories of the Sotham gang, cottage stories, summer holidays, oh we had such fun. She will be sorely missed but am sure my mom welcomed her with open arms and they are chatting up a storm. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. - Posted by: Brenda Sutherland (niece) on: Dec 14, 2012
