Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION IRENE BELL 1922-2012 Peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in Lions Personal Care Home at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Edward in 2009. Left to cherish her memory her son Garry (Marlene), three daughters Cheryl (John), Heather (Dennis) and Margie (John), nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mom was born in Bengough, Saskatchewan on June 26, 1922 and was raised in Homefield, Manitoba, one of four children. She met her husband Edward in the same little town and eloped to Crystal City. They were married on December 18, 1941 and enjoyed 67 wonderful years together. Mom loved sewing and knitting and her creations are cherished. Family was everything to Mom and she loved to spoil her family, always baking and cooking something special. Her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren were treasures and she loved them all dearly. She will be forever missed. The family wish to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff (especially Shelly) at Lions Personal Care Home for their care and compassion. A service to honour Mom's memory will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers donations in Mom's memory may be directed to Lions Personal Care Home or the Alzheimer's Society. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. We are so sorry to hear of Marion's passing. We often talk of the fun times at the Vic with her and Eddie. They were a great couple. Remember the happy times and hopefully it will help forget this sad time. We are so sorry to hear of your mom's death. Unfortunately, we are unable to be there with you at this time because we are in Mexico for the winter. But we wanted Gary, Cheryl, Heather and Margie to know that we are thinking about you at this time and praying for peace and comfort for you.
