George was my high school teacher while in Greenridge, Manitoba. He had huge reserves of patience. Thinking of you and thanking-you kindly George in retrospect for all the happy times you shared. Ada Grier - Posted by: Ada Grier (teacher ) on: Nov 13, 2024

George played at our wedding, December 7, 1963. It stormed so bad that night no one could go home so the band played till four in the morning. A good time was held by all. We had the opportunity to dance again to George's music in Dominion City just a couple of years ago. It was wonderful to reminisce those memories with him. God Bless Him. - Posted by: Olga and Glenn Steinke () on: Apr 15, 2013

We have lived across the street from George (and Alice) for over twenty years, he was kind, helpful, generous and always friendly. We enjoyed his smile, his music and his stories. We already miss him, rest in peace George. Luc and Mary - Posted by: Mary and Luc Delaquis (Neighbours and friends) on: Dec 16, 2012

George was my high school teacher for 3 years in Greenridge and then a colleague at RVS for many years. Always remember the day he told me to start calling him George not Mr. Gushuliak. Rest in peace George. You deserve it. - Posted by: Clayton Pott (Friend) on: Dec 16, 2012

Knew George for many years, first as teacher to my children, as an entertainer at local events , PCH etc, playing cards and an all around good friend. Will miss him, I can just see him playing the guitar to accompany the angels singing Rest in Peace - - Posted by: Anne Nickel (friend) on: Dec 15, 2012

My condolences to the family. George was a gentle soul who will be remembered for always being upbeat, smiling and laughing, and a lot of corny jokes that I believe he 'borrowed' from Readers Digest. He left fond memories and without a doubt will be missed by many. - Posted by: Ron Campbell (friend) on: Dec 15, 2012
