HELEN KIANSKI (nee KIZLIK) Helen Kianski passed away peacefully at East Gate Lodge, Beausejour on December 14, 2012, at the age of 95. She was born in Cromwell District. She was predeceased by her loving husband Steve in 1998, as well as brothers: Mike, Paul, and Tony Kizlik, and sisters: Josephine Oneschuk, Nellie Horosko, and Jean Shumilla. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Bernice (Roy) Duma, and Ted (Carol); and grandchildren Layton and Blair; her sister Mary Fote; brothers: Steven (Irene) and Johnny (Elsie); and sister-in-law Margaret Kizlik. She leaves many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Helen was very active at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church in Beausejour, and served with the Ukrainian Catholic Womens' League for over 50 years. A special thank you to the staff of East Gate for all their care and attention. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Gate Lodge, or the Beausejour Hospital TV Fund.
