HAROLD KLAPPRAT On December 19, 2012, after a brief battle with cancer, Harold Klapprat passed away peacefully at Stonewall Hospital at the age of 73. Harold is survived by his loving wife Malvinia and daughters, Shirley Harcus (David), Valerie Morris (Stan) and Rennie Beil (Hans); grandchildren Dione, Ryan, Reid, Leah, Steven, Jordan, Kaitlyn and six great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Mae, brother Ernie, sisters-in-law Helen, Frieda and Angela as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Harold was predeceased by son Ronald, great-grandson Marvin, parents Daniel and Johana, brothers William and Harry, sisters Nora and Dorothy. Harold was born on October 12, 1939 in the RM of Grahamdale growing up on the family farm. He then went on to work for Comstock as a foreman for many years. In the early 1970s he relocated to Stonewall gaining employment at Standard Quarries until his retirement. Harold was a dedicated member of the Christ the King Catholic Church and The Knights of Columbus for many years. Dad treasured family get-togethers and always looked forward to having the kids all home. He will be lovingly remembered by all of his family. Prayers will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church and celebration of his life will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 315 2nd Street East, Stonewall, MB.
