Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHIRLEY ANNE GENSIOROWSKI On Tuesday, December 18, 2012 Shirley passed away peacefully at Concordia General Hospital with her sister and brother-in-law (Cathy and Robert) by her side. She will be deeply missed by her sister Cathy; her brother-in-law Robert; nephew Jonathan, as well Aunty Olga and family in Winnipeg and Vancouver; cousins and families in Saskatchewan and Steinbach, MB and many friends and Robert's family. Shirley was predeceased by her parents John and Anne. Shirley was born on November 6, 1952 in Winnipeg, MB and grew up in the Elmwood area. Shirley loved family gatherings, country music and special times with Martha her longtime friend and roommate. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 beginning at 2:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow at a later date. Her family would like to extend their appreciation to the many caregivers at Prairie Places Inc. and to W.A.S.O. Inc. and to Concordia General Hospital for their excellent care and comfort given to her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Prairie Places Inc. or to a charity of one's choice. Dear Kathie, Rob and Jonathan, I was so shocked to hear of Shirley's passing. I worked at S.P.I.K.E. when she lived there and she was a real joy to have around. The stories she could tell and have everyone in stitches were missed when she left us. It was always a pleasure to run into her at the mall and catch up on things. Heaven has gained a real angel.
