Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION RUTH STELFOX 1917 - 2012 In the early hours of December 20, 2012, after a brief illness, Ruth passed away at Extendicare Oakview Place. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Richard and Ethel Peers, the Light of her Life son Edward Richard, and sister and brother-in-law Muriel (Tiss) and Al Talbot. Left to miss her are her loving husband of 73 years, Edward (Sam), daughter-in-law Christine, granddaughters Elizabeth (Tony) Cesario, Shelli (Jay) Paquette, great-grandchildren Tyler, Cody, Maria and Sarah, and niece Brenda (David) Schneider. The family would like to extend our appreciation to the staff of Oakview Place (especially 2nd floor) for the care, compassion and respect extended to Ruth, Sam and ourselves over the years she was a resident there. Many, many thanks! Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at a later date. If desired a donation may be sent to a charity of choice in lieu of flowers. i know sam and ruth from oakview where my father also lives. ruth used to get a good laugh out of my kissing sam on his bald spot and being somewhat of a bug to him. she was a lovely lady whom i wish i had had the opportunity to know better. sincere condolences to all the family and especially sam. - Posted by: nancy bourne (sort of friend) on: Dec 26, 2012

We met Ruth & Ed in 1964 after becoming friends with their son Ed & Daughter-in-law Christine. We spent many a good times with the family & have fond memories to recall.
