MAUREEN ROBERTA THERIEN April 2, 1938 - December 14, 2012 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mom, Grandma and Great-grandma. Mom's memory will always be cherished by her children Tom (Diane) and Sandy (Bran), granddaughter Tauvia (Mike), and great-grandchildren Zachary, Blake and Talissa, sisters-in-law Marlene and Therese, as well as numerous extended family and very special friends. You know who you are. Mom was predeceased by the love of her life, Jean-Claude, who left this world in August, 2011. Mom was born and raised in Winnipeg. She met Dad at a R.C.A.F. dance six months before her 18th birthday. Five days after she turned 18 they were married and started their journey of love lasting more than 55 years. Family was first and foremost for Mom. She loved her family deeply. She loved to knit and was always excited to make a sweater or blanket for family and friend's new babies. There were no strangers to Mom; just friends she hadn't met yet. We will always love and miss our Mom but Dad was waiting for her. He has the radio tuned to CJNU, Ray Price is singing Autumn Leaves and they are dancing - Together Forever. Per Mom's request there will be no service.
