ROSE MAZUR (nee URBANSKY) March 12, 1928 - December 16, 2012 Rose Mazur passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Selkirk Hospital, at the age of 84. She is predeceased by her parents George and Annie Urbansky, and her son Raymond. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, Paul; her sons: Leonard (Patricia), Donald (Susan), Alvin, Brian (Susan), Patrick (Connie); and daughter Linda; as well as 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Rosie was a dedicated and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a hard worker who didn't much complain. She enjoyed the simple things in life, and she had a heart of gold. Her friendliness and openness extended to everyone she met, especially at Food Fare. She always enjoyed talking to people. A special thank you to the staff at Beausejour Hospital and East Gate Lodge for all their care and compassion. As per Rose's request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date. May The Boss rest in peace. Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Our Sympathies go out to the Mazur Families on the passing of their wife, mom and grandma Rosie. Working at SAAN Store for many years, which was right across the street from Paul and Rosie's house and shop, I too remember her coming to visit every once and awhile to come in and say Hi and to see how my family was doing. Rosie had a very caring and generous soul. Our condolences to all the family. - Posted by: Glen and Debbie Beger & Family (friend) on: Dec 27, 2012
