MARJORIE ROSIN In the evening of December 21, 2012 in her 86th year, Marjorie Rosin (nee Bowman) passed away peacefully with family at her side at Golden West Nursing Home in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Marjorie will be sadly missed by her sons, Larry, David, Daryl (Judy), her daughter Wendy (Bob) Unger, her grandchildren, Kyle, Darren, Leigh-Ann, Derek, Matthew, Jaime, Jordan and Hailey and many nieces and nephews including special niece, Cindy Skelly. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents, William and Marjorie, beloved husband Walter, of 51 years and her five siblings. Marjorie was born and raised in Winnipeg and made it her home for life. She married Walter in 1948. In addition to the full time job of raising her family Marjorie also worked as a proofreader with Henderson Directories and the Winnipeg Free Press. She was a devoted mother with a great sense of humour and fun. Family and card games with the Club were the loves of her life. Later in life Marjorie took great delight in spending time with her grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 3R6 or other charity of choice. Aunty Marge .. I will really miss Marjorie. She had such a wonderful sense of humor and I always looked forward to seeing her on the 4th floor or in the dining room with Cindy having her Hortons muffins.
