PETER KROEKER Peacefully, surrounded by his family, Peter Kroeker passed away on December 23, 2012. Dad is survived by his wife of 60 years, Helen, daughters Nancy (Jeff), Moni (Brian) and his beloved grandchildren, Bryce, Kelsey, Perrin and Teagan. Dad was predeceased by his granddaughter Samantha in 1990. To Dad his family always came first. His second passion in life was work and he officially retired from his painting career in 2011. In his younger years Dad was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed going to the cottage on the weekend. Dad's family would like to thank the caring and thoughtful staff of NI South at Concordia Hospital, especially Sarah and Dara. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dad's memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or the Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the North Kildonan Mennonite Church located at 1131 Roch Street.
