Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY GRYWINSKI Peacefully on December 22, 2012, Mary passed away at the Arborg Hospital at the age of 96 years. Mary will be lovingly remembered by son James (Rose), daughter Barbara (Ken); grandchildren Greg (Sandy), Brad (Brigitte), Curtis (Randi), David (Amanda), Treasure. Great-grandchildren Chris, Shanelle, Derrick, Lauren, Emily, Meredith. Son-in-law Walter (Dali). Sister Sophia, brothers Bill and Steve Zaparaniuk from Saskatchewan and many nieces and nephews. Mary was born on October 26, 1916 in Samburg, SK to Domka and Fred Zaparaniuk. She was predeceased by parents Domka and Fred, husband Walter, daughter Anne, grandson Jeffrey, sisters Anne and Nellie, brothers Nick, John, Mike. Mary was a kind, generous and loving Mother, Baba, Great-Baba, Sister, Aunt, Friend. She loved family gatherings, especially Christmas, Ukrainian Dance Recitals of Shanelle and Derrick, or just being with family. In her retirement, she enjoyed 20 winters in Florida. Mary also loved gardening, coffee with the Poplarfield ladies, joke telling, bingo and a good card game. The family thanks the staff of Arborg Assisted Living Bldg., Paramedics, and staff of Arborg Hospital for all their care. The funeral service will be on Saturday, December 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or a charity of your choice. I will always remember Mary being involved with the many family socials and joyful events. Her laughter was contagious and her energy always surpassed all in a room.
