Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • In 1960 Uncle Maurice put me behind the wheel of his big new Buick when I was only 14. Although I only knew him briefly he left me with vivid memories of knowing a kind, warm and trusting uncle who gave my family and I only kindness. - Posted by: Armand Mondor (nephew) on: Jan 07, 2013

  • Uncle Maurice was a very special person to me. I wish that we had lived closer to him so that I could have spent more time with him. In the short amount of time that we spent together I enjoyed his humour, counsel and warmth. My daughter, Colette will always remember our visit to Bernice and Maurice at their cottage. He really made an impression on her when he took her fishing at age 6 or so and she caught her first fish. - Posted by: Albert Mondor (Nephew) on: Jan 07, 2013

  • We always enjoyed Uncle Maurice's stories when we visited in Winnipeg or at the lake. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family and friends on this sad occasion. - Posted by: Agnes and Ron Halverson (niece and nephew) on: Jan 05, 2013

  • Some of my fondest childhood memories are of Uncle Maurice. His sense of fun has always remained a cherished memory. Thinking of all of his family at this difficult time. - Posted by: Jeannette Kopak (niece) on: Jan 02, 2013

  • All our thoughts and prayers are with you (Ken and Joyce) at this difficult time. - Posted by: Wes & Donna Alleyne (Friend) on: Jan 02, 2013
