Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT NELSON MONIZ On December 22, 2012, beloved father, son and brother, Robert passed away at the age of 41 years. Robert is survived by his son, Blaze (Tanya Blais); mother Maria Teresa Moniz; brother Michael Moniz; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father Jose A. Moniz. Robert had many passions in life. He loved the outdoors, fishing in the summertime, however his biggest passion was spending quality time with his son Blaze. The family would like to thank the Oakbank R.C.M.P., Manitoba Fire Commissioner and all the family and friends for all their dedication and support through this difficult time. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Cooks Creek, MB In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Robert to The Siloam Mission, 300 Princess Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 1M3. My dear friend Rob, You always had that infectious smile on and I want to thank you for that...anytime I seen you your were always the same Rob I knew, happy and making sure everybody else was too. The last time I saw you you were with your beautiful little guy and he looked up at her with such pride. Rob and I met when he transferred to Edward Schreyer School from Winnipeg. We had a few close friends in common and became friends quickly. I remember some very fun times and good laughs over our high school years. He will be greatly missed by those that knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they celebrate his life.
