MICHAEL SAWIAK On December 25, 2012 at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, Michael passed away at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his daughter Genia of Winnipeg, and two sisters Orysia and Luba in Ukraine, as well as extended family in Canada, U.S.A and Ukraine. He was predeceased by his wife Olga, brother Nestor and sister Ducia. He was a long time employee of Winnipeg Old Country Sausage and enjoyed travelling, fishing, dancing and gardening in his leisure time. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue. Rosary/Viewing will take place at church at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Cropo Funeral Chapel, 204-586-8044

Mike was one of the hardest working employees we have ever had. He enjoyed his job and truly cared about his work. When Mike retired we really missed him, it is hard too find such a good caring man who got along with everybody.
