Special thoughts to his niece Val (Brent) and family, his Portland Street Family' the Hendersons, his Vancouver family, as well as the Vital seniors in St. Vital. Bill lived a long and happy life. From the time he was a young man he excelled in all sports. He participated in the liberation of Europe during the Second World War. When Bill came home from Europe he went back to work for the Hudson's Bay Company for 50 years until his retirement. Bill was an avid outdoorsman and loved being at his trailer in West Hawk Lake. He spent many summers there with his family playing golf and fishing. During his retirement he had a lot of hobbies including collecting stamps and coins and playing bridge at his church Saint Mary Magdalene. Bill was recently presented with a lifetime membership to the Vital seniors. The family would like to thank the staff of the Rosewood and Concordia Place for the compassion and care they have provided Bill over the last four years.
