John, Anne-Marie and David, we are sorry we were not able to be with you to pay our respects to your Father. For us, John and Elizabeth were supportive members of the St. Mark's Cub and Scout group, always helping "Skipper" run the 18th Troop. As well, we know their support of Christ the King Parish. They were gentle, caring people. May your beautiful memories sustain you at this time and always. Sincere sympathy, Blaine and Margaret Silverthorne - Posted by: Blaine and Margaret Silverthorne (Friends) on: Jan 17, 2013

I grew up in the house-next-door to the Pedoras on Victory Place in St. Vital. My memories include hanging over the backyard fence watching as Mr. Pedora assembled a most fantastic swing set; on which I shared many happy hours with his children. I also recall his meticulous, attention-to-detail yard-care and the countless hours he spent behind his push-mower – smiling all the way! Mr. and Mrs. Pedora were kind, smiling, generous neighbours. I extend best regards and sincere condolences to John, Anne-Marie and David. - Posted by: Barbara Murphy (former neighbour) on: Jan 15, 2013
