Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA LANDRY (nee LAVALLEE) 1924 - 2013 Peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, January 4, 2013, Maria Landry passed away at the age of 88 years. Maria will be lovingly remembered by her six children, Marguerite (Rene) Fillion; Gisele (Wally) Faryna; Andre (Pat); Dolores (Sam) Prairie; Benoit and Gerard. She also leaves to mourn 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, her sister, Anna Dupuis and brother, Romeo (Odile) Desorcy and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edmond (1964) and loving sons, Denis (2002) and Donat (1988). Mom was a woman of great faith, a woman of great strength and a woman who made a difference in many lives. She gave of herself to others selflessly with a smile and was rewarded with a long fruitful life filled with love. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Parish Church, 820 Cottonwood Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to all the staff at Foyer Valade for the compassionate care given to our Mother during her stay there. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Action Marguerite/St. Vital (Foyer Valade) 450 River Road, Winnipeg, MB R2M 5M4. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements, 204-775-2220

Dear Andy and Family, Madame Landry as I fondly remember her as. The many trips she made to Calgary to visit Andy when you came to live with us on 24th street. She was so kind and loving to all of us. The hours she spent with us painting Easter Eggs and just letting us sit on her lap to enjoy her hugs and laughter.
