Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHERESE TRUDEL (nee DESROSIERS) Peacefully, on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, in the presence of all of her children and their spouses and many grandchildren, Thérèse passed away at the Victoria General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Aimé; her parents Emilien and Ernestine; sisters Anna, Marie, and Yvette; brothers Georges and Maurice; grandson Robert; and son-in-law Roy Lamirande. She leaves her children Raynald (Ray) and Marielle, Odette and Larry Zaporozan, Ernest (Ernie) and Elaine, Elaine and Tony Beaulieu, Lynne and Alan Slobodian, Renée and Tom Semenchuk; as well as brothers Paul, Jean, Robert, and Guay; and sisters Léonne, Jeanne, Claire, Céline, Estelle, Simone, and Bertille. She also leaves 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Thérèse was born on March 17, 1921 and raised in St. Malo, later moving to St. Lazare and then to St. Vital where she worked at the St. Amant Centre for many years. Her life priority was always her family. She very much enjoyed square dancing, Y activities, and extensive travel. Her family wishes to thank Dr. F. Salem and the nursing staff at the Victoria Hospital. The immediate family also wishes to give a very special thanks to grandchildren who helped make her last days as comfortable as possible. As per Thérèe's wishes cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Eugene Catholic Church at 1007 St. Mary's Road on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, should friends and family so desire, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at the St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church, 1007 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg, MB. Longer obituary will follow in tomorrow's paper.
