Had a memorable bike trip with Bob to Vancouver Island. He was a pleasure to ride with...had great mechanic skills. I remember the "smoker's" helmet he used. I'm sure he's still atop a phantom Magna somewhere in the universe... Ride on Bob! - Posted by: Rex King (Friend ) on: Nov 08, 2018

I'm greatly shocked to find out about Bob's passing at the beginning of this year, I only just found out. Bob and I travelled together many miles on our motorcycles. He was our local legend for the distances he could cover in his steady methodical way. I can remember one trip in particular where his talents at problem solving some bike woes came in particularly handy. Thanks for all the fond memories Bob, it was grand. - Posted by: Larry Bejcar (Friend) on: Nov 28, 2013

Bob and I rode to California twice. I also met him at some motorcycle get-togethers. He was a good companion on the road, a very good traveler. He was a quiet, careful man who enjoyed riding and being with the SabMag riders. And we enjoyed being with him. He also freely shared his skills as a mechanic with many on our list. I've often thought of him since we made those trips. Ride on, Bob. - Posted by: Mark Muehlhausen (SabMag friend from Illinois) on: Jan 17, 2013

We met Bob when he attended our 'Spring Fling' riding events here in CA. He was always kind, helpful, and enjoyable company. He will be missed by all who knew him. - Posted by: Ron and Doe Erhardt ((SabMag friends from California)) on: Jan 16, 2013

Every year, we exchanged newsy Christmas letters with Bob and Val. I enjoyed reading about their lives and the adventures of their children. Although we did not see each other face to face often in recent times, these letters kept us close. Bob was a great cousin. Love June Norma remembers Bob fondly from his visits to the farm. - Posted by: June Corman (cousin) on: Jan 15, 2013
