MARY (RIE) LUIT 1922 - 2013 Born September 4, 1922 in the Netherlands, Mary passed away peacefully on January 17, 2013. She was predeceased by her loving husband Dirk (Dick) Luit and caring youngest son Bert. Soulmates, Dick and Rie met as youngsters and were married for 67 years. They left the Netherlands and came to Canada to seek greater opportunities for their family and were grateful for the rich experience they found and shared. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at the Poseidon Care Centre who looked after Mom so well. Donations to Poseidon Care Centre for their kindness would be much appreciated.   • Mrs. Luit (Rie) was part of my life for 60 years. Our family with hers have had a long history from our immigration years to the present. She closes part of that story for me but I'm grateful that I had a chance to be part of her life and that she was part of mine for so long. I miss her a lot but I also know that she was ready to be released from this life. And we will go on being richer for having known this lovely woman.   • Mine consoles with the passing of you're fine. mother Peter. Mine memory is she let us shower in her home during the flood in 1966 pleasent memories may she rest in peace. We lost touch in later years but she was a fine lady. I am also old now too And live in assisted living 1145st 408 Dakota.   • Peter, onze oprechte deelneming met het verlies van je moeder. Zij was een zeer bijzondere vrouw, voor ons tante Rie. Wij hebben veel contact met haar gehad over de telefoon en per post. Altijd hebben wij direct een heel goed gesprek met haar kunnen voeren. Heel veel hebben wij met haar gesproken over de Here Jezus. Zij wist zeker dat als zij zou sterven, zij naar Jezus zou gaan. Nu is haar wens vervuld en heeft zij geen pijn meer. Heel veel sterkte gewenst met het verwerken van dit verlies. Gods zegen toegebeden.
