Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Auntie Leah was an old friend of my parents. When I was a baby, she worked at the small corner grocery that my parents shopped at in the North End. They would leave me with her while getting their items and she would play with me. My parents moved to Crestview and when they got a new neighbor, it turned out to be their old friend. Small world... I grew up next door to Auntie Leah, spent time with her and loved her as my favorite aunt. She had the sweetest disposition, loving all the children in the neighborhood. We all knew that if we needed an adult that she was there, willing to help out. She was just the kind of person that was there for anyone... My life is better for knowing her, and I have become the person that I am in part thru her guidance and love. Auntie Leah... I will miss you, but I know that Heaven is far richer now than before. - Posted by: Glenn Seifert (honorary nephew) on: Jan 28, 2013
