WALTER FRANCIS BRAUN Walter was born in Swalwell, AB, on April 22, 1918, to Peter and Lena Braun, the fourth child in a family of nine with four brothers and four sisters. He left us on Friday, January 25, 2013, at 6:00 a.m. at Maplewood Manor in Steinbach, MB. He lived his early years in and near Grunthal, MB and much of his adult life at Sinclair, MB. He married Justina Isaac of Kleefeld and together they had four children: Dorothy, David, Kathryn and Phyllis. His creative passion was music which he imparted to many people. A gifted communicator, he engaged with many people, making a multitude of friends. We wish him farewell. "Home he is where he longed to be." There will be a wake at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Sunday, January 27 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Monday, January 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kleefeld Church of God in Christ with interment at the church cemetery.
