Dear Rina and family, please accept my sincerest sympathy for your loss of Ricardo. I grew up listening to my Dad telling stories about Ricardo and him during the war and I was overjoyed to finally meet him when we came to Canada. How the two friends found each other up here was yet another adventure with me running out of gas while on vacation in Italy and running into Ricardo's sister, who was kind enough to let me, a total stranger, borrow some late one night. She asked where I was from and then told me her Brother Ricardo lived in Canada as well, maybe I knew him? I thought that that was the funniest thing, with Canada being just slightly bigger than fossalta, I must have run into him. It was the beginning of a nice friend's reunion and I finally got to meet the legendary Ricardo It was great seeing you again when Anthony and I made a cross Canada trip a few years back and came to your home for an afternoon of stories and walks down memory lane and he spoke of his family with such love and pride. Ricardo will always hold a special place in my heart. Vittorina Grillo - Posted by: Vicki Grillo-Ohanian (Friend's daughter) on: Feb 10, 2013
