NICHOLLS 1948 - 2013 Ken, aged 64 years, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2013, after a challenging five years faced with many health issues. He is survived by brothers, Richard, Bruce (Bev) and sister Susan (Jim), as well as many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. He also leaves to cherish his memory his close friend Janet. He was predeceased by his parents Ruth (1991) and Bert (2010). The family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation for the numerous caregivers that were there for Ken; Grace Hospital CancerCare, Health Sciences 5GD and 7GH and lastly the last few months spent at Deer Lodge Centre, Lodge 6E. Memorial service will take place on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Kenny was a kind hearted quiet guy who never spoke harsh about anyone or anything. He loved his nieces and nephews and enjoyed any time he could spend with them. Kenny suffered ill health for so many years. It's a blessing that he has gone to a better place. I had the opportunity to run into him last year and give him a last hug.
