I am truly saddened by the news of Williams (Bills) passing. My mom Barb and I have been working bomber games for over 15 years. Bill was always a ray of sunshine and happy to let me in the gate to go help my mom with her hot dog cart. I was completely shocked when I heard just a few weeks ago that he passed away, he will always be remembered for being a kind soul and if you needed a sugar fix, he was your man. My deepest sympathies to his family my thoughts and prayers are with you. Thanks Bill for making every Bomber game a pleasure to be working. - Posted by: Tamara Millman (worked Bomber game) on: Jun 17, 2013

I grew up with Donna, Willie, Herb & Laura and Bill never missed a hockey or lacrosse game when any of them were playing. He was a huge fan of many of the Kelvin CC gang and their door was always open. Our conversations at all the Bomber, Moose & Jets games were great. I just returned from being away and sorely missed being at the funeral. Love you all, Big Mac - Posted by: Keith McLennan (family friend for the past 45 or so years.) on: Feb 11, 2013

I used to work as an usher at the old Winnipeg Arena as a teenager and Bill Vielhaber was a fixture at the old barn... it was a pleasure to see him at the MTS Centre and introduce my son to him. My condolences to my friends Herb and Brenda and to all of Bill's family... I'm sorry I missed his memorial service but I only found out about his passing when True North paid tribute to him at last night's game... he was a true gentleman. - Posted by: Rick Brownlee (friend) on: Feb 06, 2013
