Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryURSULA VON DER BEHRENS (nee WALLCUSCH) The family of Ursula von der Behrens sadly announces her passing on January 26, 2013 following a courageous battle with lung cancer. Left to cherish Ursula's memory are her loving husband of 61 years Heinz, son Dieter (Debbie), grandsons Erik (Caroline) and Kris (Janel) and great-grandchildren Colin and Kate, as well as many family members in Germany. She was predeceased by her parents Anna and Walter and her brother, Walter. Ursula was born in Bocin, Germany on May 29, 1928. She married Heinz on August 25, 1951 and together with their young son, immigrated to Canada in 1957. She worked in the garment industry until her retirement in 1990. Ursula was devoted to her family. She was happiest when everyone was together whether celebrating a special occasion or enjoying a family meal. Her kind, generous and loving nature was known to all. Our family would like to extend their appreciation to Dave and Emily for all of their assistance. A service honoring Ursula's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway #1 East at Navin Road. It is was an honour to known this fine lady who welcomed me into her family through my friendship with her daughter-in-law, Debbie. During all the family occasions, I had the privilege to see the love that surrounded her from all generations and the joy which that brought to her.
